Installation Guide

Screens come pre-assembled with pre-drilled fixing holes. Install posts first (treated pine or steel recommended), then fix screens to posts with coach screws or bolts. No specialist tools required — two people recommended for larger screens.

Free metro delivery on orders over $1,000 for screens up to 2,400mm long — Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane metro areas.

Screens longer than 2,400mm require specialist freight and are quoted separately at checkout.

Care & Maintenance

For best results, oil your timber screens every 6–12 months with a quality exterior timber oil. Raw screens should be oiled within 2 weeks of installation. Pre-oiled screens are ready to install — first re-oil at 12 months.

What's the difference between Merbau, Spotted Gum, and Yellow Balau?
Merbau is a rich red-brown hardwood — our best seller. Naturally durable and great value. Spotted Gum is an Australian hardwood with unique grain variation — premium choice. Yellow Balau has lighter honey tones for a clean, contemporary look. With similar properties to Merbau.
Should I choose raw or pre-oiled?
Raw screens let you apply your own choice of oil or stain for a custom finish. Pre-oiled screens are treated with premium exterior oil and are ready to install straight away — ideal if you want to save time.
How long will timber screens last?
Our screens use Class 1–2 hardwoods which are naturally durable. With regular oiling (every 6–12 months), expect 15–25+ years above ground. Many customers report screens lasting decades with proper maintenance.
Can I install these myself?
