How does bamboo perform outdoors?
Our engineered bamboo is processed and treated for exterior service in Australian conditions. Eco-Plank decking and exterior cladding panels carry the same expected service life as Class 1–2 hardwood when properly installed and oiled every 12 months. We supply install guides + recommended oils with every project order.
Why bamboo over hardwood for sustainability?
Bamboo regrows in 5 years vs 15–25 years for a hardwood plantation. Same end-product look and performance — fraction of the regrowth cycle. Our supply is FSC-certified plantation-grown. If you're spec'ing for a Green Star or NABERS project, bamboo's renewable-resource credentials are well-recognised.
How is it installed?
Standard cladding methods apply — battens fixed to a substrate, then panels fixed via face-fix with cladding screws or shadow-line concealed fix depending on the profile. Decking installs to standard hardwood-decking spans. We supply install guides with every order.
How fast can you supply?
Most in-stock profiles ship within 2–5 business days. Larger project quantities (over 50m² or full pool fence kits) may take 3–6 weeks if we need to top up inventory. Call us with your project specs and we'll confirm timing.
Can I order a sample?
Yes — we offer a $25 sample pack covering the main bamboo profiles so you can compare colour, grain and joint detail in person before specifying. Most architects start there.
